I first heard of the Koch (sounds like Coke) Family in 1959. I had enrolled at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas on a football scholarship. Back then wealth and big farms seemed to impress the local Kansans I met I guess because big money and coming from it impressed most all young humans back then.
