Dancing with the Tar Baby (While Waiting for Santa Claus to Come) Part II

In Dancing with the Tar Baby Part I we shared a bit of the black stickiness of dark human events that sentence us human creatures to drift in and out of a state of melancholy for most of our lives. To find solace from the world’s problems, the real threat of world financial collapse, loss of jobs, loss of our homes, we seek diversions. Distractions from life’s morbid realities. The Caesars of Ancient Rome used to call it “circus and bread” for the masses. Keep the people busy. Keep them distracted from reality. And the Roman leaders managed to do just that when the bloodshot eye of reality kept peaking from behind the mask of deception. Circus and Bread

Not that I fully agree with them, but there are even more political websites that describe the phenomenon of circus and bread for the masses. More Circus and Bread Expanded

It becomes obvious that there is a great determination to divert the attention of the masses in the world to things more trivial than the destruction of sovereign currencies, the shifting of world wealth from the middle and working classes to the upper .1% of humans, and the wanton waging of wars for profit of the Military Industrial Complex. Ike’s Grave Warning

Now, in 2011 the world is rife with wars, military occupations of countless sovereign countries, and Trillions of dollars of annual production of war machinery and security software and hardware. Why is that? So we can wage combat. It must be our human pastime we do it so much. I used to think that perhaps Homo sapiens enjoyed the killing, but I don’t think that’s it. It’s the money. War makes the cash registers go Kachingo!

Look at all the profits and jobs that come from the hard and software war brings to the table. Some say all the struggle in a good war is so we can protect ourselves from aggression. You buy that? Wanna buy a $500 hammer discounted to $200? No, that’s the business of the Military Industrial Complex to sell $500 hammers and $600 toilet seats to Uncle Sam. That is sacred NO-BID territory between gummint and war-crony companies like Halliburton and Blackwater. In the eyes of the government, I would not have the importance of a knot on a Possum’s penis in the Big Thicket, compared to the NO-BID war crony corporations. And finally, this entire ruckus is so the US Government can go bankrupt from borrowing and spending to the tune of $14,000,000,000,000.00 and counting. Why the heck would we want to go bankrupt, you ask? Simple. So we can tell all the people with crocodile tears that there just ain’t no more people money from Uncle Sam for Social Security, Pell Grants, Welfare, Food Stamps, Medicare, Medicaid, and police protection. Ya’ll on your own, now, ya heah? Hope old Billy Bob can stand it so’s he don’t have to all of a sudden jump up from the sofa and run over all of Toby Keith’s CDs in his pickup truck.

Don’t make any sense, right? Like, why would the rich crap in their own nest? Well, you see, they planned ahead. They insiders, get it? They bought (take the Bush family…….please) over 200 thousand acres of land in Paraguay. Got lots of natural resources, including water, food, copper, lithium, and-get this-even a 400 man US Marine airbase nearby for protection. Don’t that beat all? You can’t even extract anybody from Paraguay for war crimes, neither. That might be one way to beat the system and bail out of a country once you trashed it and the people and the government programs they used to enjoy before the insiders started stealing from the people. Oh, and I would imagine lots of gold and silver made its way down there with them, don’t you? Screw Bernanke…..he can print as many US dollars as he wonts to, ‘cause we out of there. Look up Grover Norquist on Google. He was a prophet, you know, of all this when he talked about starving the beast (government people programs like Head Start and the School Lunch Program) and drowning it in the bath tub.

Where was I? Oh, yeah, for all this human effort, sweat and tears, we still need to protect us from ourselves. While the planet earth warms, due to human disrespect for the planet. We are the keepers and stewards of our home, planet earth.

As we speak, China is building ONE new coal-fired electric generation plant PER DAY. So aside from the excess production each day that we live and breathe as a species we put into the air billions of pounds more of Carbon Dioxide with each year that passes. In the new industrial birth of China as a world power (China just passed Japan as Number 2) few Chinese citizens have been able to afford automobiles. Not so anymore. The figures for 2010 in automobiles produced are staggering. China Auto Production in 2010

Some say China will produce another 50 million cars in 2011.

Just think about it. All that additional air pollution. All that excess CO2 shoe-horned into our atmosphere. All that additional mercury poisoning that will settle in the fatty tissues of every fish and sea creature in the planet earth. What will we be able to eat? What will happen to us?

Right about now, I can hear the chuckles and guffaws of those who say global warming is a hoax. It is amazing when you think about it, how so much of the scientific community of the world believes in and supports global warming as a real and present danger, while so-called “paid scientists” rail against global warming and Al Gore for his movie, “An Inconvenient Truth.” Al Gore: Global Warming in 10 Minutes

The Nobel Peace Prize is given to those who have done the most to make the planet better for humankind. The Nobel Society is based upon a SCIENTIFIC SEARCH FOR TRUTH. Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for his work on Global Warming. Yet opposition to Gore’s work to make us more aware of what we are doing to our own home, planet earth, is enormous. It is as fierce as the Trillions of Dollars to discredit him are numerous and fully deployed in his sought-after destruction. You see, to acknowledge the truth about yes, we humans are actually causing the temperature of our planet to rise, would be disastrous for the bottom line profits of most all heavy industries in the whole world. For once can we humans get on the same page, here? It’s the money, stupid.

“Where have you gone, Thomas Jefferson? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you (Woo woo woo). (To the tune of “Mrs. Robinson")

Exxon alone would have to spend billions on just improving the air quality of its belching refineries. Dow Chemical would need to outlay billions in cash to improve its water runoff systems, and of course, China would have to stop building coal-fired electric power plants and spend most all its cash on cleaning up the Yellow River and its vast sources ground water. China would collapse. It would be an impossibility, of course, which makes it such an easy task to demonize Al Gore for telling us the truth. What about Science though? Well they got the best scientists big lobby money can buy. First the Creationist Museum, and then the dumbing down of Science for the sake of the bottom line dollar of corporations. Goodbye, earth, it was nice knowing you. Now where’s that circus and bread? Gimme that controller so I can watch Fox News. Hannity and O’Reilly will make it all better about that bloody global warming thang.

The money well has no bottom when it comes to those who would debunk global warming and Gore as a hoax. Koch Industries is now at the top of the list as a donor to that cause of that organized destruction of the long time survival chances of the human race.   http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/en/campaigns/global-warming-and-energy/polluterwatch/koch-industries/

And you thought the Koch Brothers were just eccentric billionaires who just supported the Tea Party!

So there you have it, my fellow earthlings. The grandest Tar Baby of all time has already taken our hand for one last dance. We are in denial and enjoying the modern day “Circus and Bread” of “American Idol,” Dancing with the Stars,” the “Super Bowl,” just name the diversion. We cannot be bothered with bad stuff or negativity. We just put in a hard day’s work, drove the hour home on the freeway, and want to relax and vege out. Can’t be bothered with no Al Gore or no global warming. And there are so many people who say that it is all a hoax, anyhow. For the first time, science has been manipulated to help us destroy us. There are endless billions of dollars from those who profit from business as usual, and continuing to smoke up the planet, and mercurytize our water supply, that you can hardly know what to believe. But know this, that when you follow the money, the smart money is on continuing on as we have for centuries, depleting resources and polluting air and water. Why? It’s more profitable. But what about the future? What future?   It does not exist. Only the now. Only the bucks you can make today. Get with it you tree-huggers! The Tar Baby’s got the next dance, chump. With you.

Dancing with the Tar Baby (While Waiting for Santa Claus to Come) Part I

A week ago I sped up a bit on a country two-lane East Texas county road I had travelled for over 3 decades. I was passing another car. There was plenty of room, but you know how it is when you speed up to pass another vehicle, and I did, and after clearing and veering back into my lane, the red and blue lights of an oncoming white vehicle in the distance began flashing. I was busted. The colored lights were hidden inside at the top of the windshield. Clever. “Speeding.” the officer said as he gave me the ticket from a glassy eye and ashen face. He walked disinterestedly away from me back to his car.

I was furious with myself, you see, for I had been giving myself pep talks and mental warnings about how with all the broken budgets and mammoth debt in local, state, and federal government, they would be out there like Gang-Busters waiting for you with all the empathy of a Cottonmouth.

I had picked up an old friend from high school to show him my new home site on a small lake with Wood Ducks and Lesser Scaups landing in the middle to raft and raise up splashingly and remind us of when we went up the Intracoastal Canal near Port Arthur, Texas and out onto Keith’s Lake to hunt waterfowl and be with the mysteries of the marsh as young men. 50 years had passed, but the feeling was still there. Each time we would go out in those days of our youth, it was like waiting for Santa Claus to come. The great anticipation of what first light would bring as you trudged through the deep cow licked marsh grass, a backload of decoys in your gunny sack, afraid you would step on a grunting alligator, was a priceless adventure. Stars smiled on you, and the faint high-pitched (wing-wing-wing-wing) metallic flight echo of low-fliers, unseen, but just as good as calendar ducks on the refrigerator magnet, made you smile inside.

I digress. I just want to say that before the deputy sheriff encounter, I was up and going home again with an old friend when up jumped the Tar Baby, all dripping black and wanting to dance with me again. “I’ll lead.” his unrelenting demeanor told me. Well this little speeding infraction was my fault. I was projecting, I know, my feelings about life and good and evil onto the officer who was just doing his job catching speeders and taking big money for the county. I should have known better I tell you. It was my own fault and nobody else’s. But I kept thinking and doing a slow burn. Why couldn’t he go catch the criminals who had just stolen copper from 6 houses under construction in my new paradise subdivision with the Cormorants, the Mallards, and the Ospreys? Yes, and hovering Ospreys at that. I hated the Tar Babies and having to dance with them so often, these days.

But wait. Maybe it was my ancient eye, all clouded with logic that seems hardly rational to anyone but me. I began to feel like I was crazy, talking about dancing with Tar Babies and all.   Maybe I need to see a shrink. But how would I know if they are secretly crazy or not before wasting a few grand on their own hidden agenda and craziness?

Perhaps my disease is one of accumulation. See, each bit of news these days seems so black and gooey with tar to the human senses. Know what I mean?

Life used to be simple. I cry out for the passion I used to feel from the flower, the Carolina Wrens, the Red Fox, the rooting Armadillos, the Bluebirds, and the Brown Thrashers, thrashing the dark leaves of the forest floor. In my mind I can still hear the other-worldly “galoop,    galoop,       galoop of the Yellow-Billed Cuckoo, hiding among the thick high leaves and boughs, flitting about as he flashes his white and black polka-dotted bottom tail feathers, if you are lucky. Where have they gone, these Rain Crows of the forest that made the heart leap? Think maybe Sarah Palin shot them all?

Accumulation. I just heard the news that Tom DeLay was sentenced to 3 years in prison for his criminal conviction of money laundering and breaking a Texas Law about what campaign money was to be used for. And not. The smart money says DeLay will never do any time due to slick lawyers and legal delays. Even though DeLay blew the money on redistricting Texas congressional districts that would change forever the way House members were selected in Texas. And yes, somehow the GOP seemed to have gained at least 6 new seats in Washington, thanks to old Tom.

I was shaken when Valerie Plame, a CIA undercover terrorist agent was likely offed by someone in the White House. Her husband, Joe Wilson, had investigated Bush’s contention that we needed to attack Iraq because Saddam Hussein had attempted to buy Uranium Yellow Cake from Niger. Wilson called bull on Bush and Cheney about the necessity to attack Iraq based upon the bogus intelligence Bush used in his state of the union address to scare Americans with images of mushroom clouds in our very own cities. When special prosecutor Fitzgerald’s investigation and subsequent trial saw Scooter Libby, Cheney’s man Friday, convicted of lying under oath, I felt great exhilaration. Then came the day for sentencing, and President Bush stepped in and commuted Libby’s sentence. “May I have this dance?” asked the Tar Baby.

The nation suffered 8 years of dancing with the Tar Baby under Bush II. The National Debt grew by 4 Trillion Dollars! Bush told us we needed to borrow and spend 4 Trillion Dollars in order to keep Iraq from setting off Weapons of Mass Destruction on our shores. Add that little addition to Ronald Reagan’s borrowing and spending spree of 3 Trillion dollars to bring the Evil Empire (Russia) to its knees, and you have a total of 7 Trillion Dollars of debt. That is HALF the present National Debt! Attributable to just 2 American presidents! Both Republican. So, how ‘bout them big-spending Democrats? Where did they all go? Out dancing with the Tar Baby?

Representative Paul Ryan, Republican of Wisconsin said, after Obama’s state of the union address Tuesday night, that Obama was responsible for the ongoing massive spending and debt facing our children and grandchildren. Say what?!! It is always most noticeable how these rah-rah Republicans never mention all the Bush II borrowing and spending that shoved us over the cliff of National Debt. Neither did talking head and former congressman, (Morning Joe) Scarborough. He said Obama’s speech was tepid and boring. He also lauded Paul Ryan as an up-and-coming force in the GOP. But Joe Scarborough didn’t mention all of Bush’s borrowing and spending to attack and occupy Iraq either, so what is Morning Joe thinking? Did he pass Arithmetic in the 3rd Grade or what? Did he have a memory lapse over Bush II’s massive borrowing and spending? So in my world why do these Tar Babies keep on appearing like ugly genies from a bottle? And how can they lie so eloquently? Golly Gee Whiskers!

For months I felt that good things might be just around the corner for all Americans. It appeared that Congress would pass our first National Health Bill. I was as exuberant as I was on the day of American’s first moon landing. It felt like Santa Claus might be coming after all. The bill passed and Obama signed it into law. But guess what? Before the ink dried good, the new Republican majority in the House voted to repeal the National Health Plan! If it would ever pass the Senate and Obama’s presidential veto, there would be no more coverage for millions of Americans. Pre-existing conditions would be a reason for insurance companies to deny coverage to all Americans once again. We would be right back where we started. Where over 45 million Americans would once again be without insurance coverage.

One of the biggest Tar Babies I ever had to dance with was when I researched many states for a possible business venture idea I had. I have been passionate about building and producing electricity from my own solar farm for years. I studied how to build on and bring it online to produce electricity as real, usable power. I sought to produce many more KW, even MW of electricity to sell back to the electric companies for profit. I researched the laws and regulations of several states, including my own here in Texas. No soap. Texas utility companies did not want to buy back excess electricity you produced even if it were engineered by professionals who specialized in hooking up solar panel systems to the grid. All the baloney we always heard about how the electric company had to pay you back for excess energy your system generated was just that. Bunk. See, the electric companies (Big Brown) want to generate all their own electricity, and they do not want to pay individuals for any excess power they might generate. And the Texas Lege backs Big Brown up. So do most of the other states in the USA. The electric companies have a giant lobby that works well. So basically all the excess power an individual or company generates and routes back to the electric grid is the property of the electric company. Wow, what a Tar Baby to dance with. I spent 2 whole years only to discover that a private businessman could not make a solar farm profitable. Why not? Because you cannot sell (net meter) it back to Big Brown. They want it all. Some land of opportunity, eh?

In Part II we will explore one of the biggest Tar Babies of all, one that will determine the future of the human race. And everyone, every human alive must dance with him. Unless we all suck it up and drive him away.

Politicizing the Tucson Tragedy- When the Right and Sarah Palin Go Viral in De Nile)

Jared Loughner, a psychopath without a trace of conscience, shot Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords and 19 others in a Safeway parking lot rally for the Congresswoman on January 8, 2011. Six people, including a 9 year old girl were killed and the others, seriously wounded. Giffords, shot in the head, survived the attack and is still in critical condition in the University Medical Center in Tucson. Her wound is grave, and it appears that if she survives, things for her will never be the same. Upon hearing the news, I felt down and depressed at what had become of America, our country. Knowing that the random act was that of a crazy person did not seem to ease my depression for the rest of the day.

After the tragic mindless shooting of many innocent victims at had set in, Paul Krugman, Chris Matthews, and a few other reporters pointed a finger at the violent rhetoric of Sarah Palin as a contributing cause. Though the heinous act was committed by a deranged 22-year-old gunman and had no direct connection to Sarah Palin or that what she might have said did, in fact, inflame the mind of a senseless villain, Palin had used the gun talk words of “targeting” and “crosshairs” before when describing how her supporters, be they Tea Partiers, Republicans, or Independents, needed to vote Gabriel Giffords (and her kind in other targeted states in her crosshairs) out of office. Palin’s crosshairs were posted online and fixed on the states during the 2010 Election that Palin said were “targeted” and in the “crosshairs” because the wrong politicians (according to Palin’s beliefs) were incumbent Democrats in those states. And according to Palin, a housecleaning was in order. See Palin’s gun talk rhetoric and Giffords’ video warning of such almost a year ago

Paul Krugman, columnist for the New York Times, may have ignited the first GOP that caught quickly like wildfire that saw everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Bernie Goldberg to O’Reilly, Hannity, (you know the crowd) to cry foul.  A Krugman piece on the Tucson Shooting

Well, all the big league players used their broadcasting Media resources (Fox News, for example) ‘round the clock for days after the shootings, demonizing the Democrats and liberals for “politicizing” the tragedy. They said in monotonous repetitions that made your teeth hurt that this was the act of an insane monster, and to “politicize” it all (like the Left-leaning Media was doing) was horrific and shameful. It went on and on and on for days. You got a slant from Bill O’Reilly and his ghoulish backups like it was the number one hog-rooting, hog-wallowing story that Fox News had to offer. Charles Krauthammer, a regular Fox News contributor hashed it over with O’Reilly in their tandem trashing of liberals about how much they “politicized” the shootings. Under the talking head of Krauthammer were the words, “Harvard educated MD and psychiatrist.” Hmmm. I had had the misfortune to listen to the cadaverous Krauthammer before when I was slumming and flipped the channel to see what new untruth Fox was telling America, and know what? Never did I see that caption under Krauthammer’s difficult to view likeness. Was Fox saving his credentials for just such an occasion that might seem credulous? Then there was Rush. The following piece by Sam Seder commenting on Rush Limbaugh’s comments is pregnant with how violent rhetoric really does incite people to hurt people: Rush and Sam Seder each discuss the likelihood of whether violent hate rhetoric is dangerous

Then came Hannity and all the pig squeals and high-pitched oinks expressing indignation at the Left for politicizing the shooting tragedy. There was Dick Morris, of course, perhaps the only face exuding more bile, dishonesty, and one-way huckster talking points than the Huckster himself, Mike Huckabee. Yada, yada, yada, all day and all night long.

So you take a drive to the post office to get away from such vitriol, and up jumps Rush Limbaugh with his own spin on why people should not listen to the awful Democrats who tried to implicate Palin and her violent rhetoric as perhaps an inciter of such nut cases like Jared Loughner, the Tucson shooter who shot 20 people, 6 of whom were killed.

The Right Wing groups, be they Tea Baggers, Republicans, or just misguided Billy Bobs whose heroes are Toby Keith and George W. Bush have engaged in non-stop, 24-7 blathering on the airwaves and on television. There has been a non-stop attempt to defend Sarah Palin in order to exonerate her from any blame for her “crosshairs” style of talking trash. These angry right wing groups have flayed the Democrats and Lefties, non-stop for days at least 30 times an hour, or every 2 minutes.  I got one question for them all:

Will the REAL politicizers of this national tragedy please stand up?

I don’t think they even realize what projection truly is nor would they really care if America might really benefit from a statement from Palin that would bring us together and strengthen her chances for the presidency in 2012. Palin could become instantly popular with twice the voters she has now if only she would utter something like:

“The time has come for us to put down our weapons of hate, not to defend them. If I said anything that might inflame a mentally-disturbed individual to commit such a horrific act, I am sorry. I did not mean it literally, the crosshairs thing, and I will strive to do better just in case there might be a sliver of responsibility attributable to me or my campaign rhetoric.” Former press secretary for President George H W Bush said it best: "The strongest way to rise above would have been to talk about suffering, tragedy, hope, strength and recovery," former White House spokesman Ari Fleischer told Politico. "But instead she (Palin) followed the more conventional political route and made it about herself rather than the victims."

I tell you she would bring down the house of undecided voters in America. People would believe she is real. But look at it another way: O’Reilly, Hannity, and Rush would be robbed of just another bone to worry by trashing Democrats. Maybe they would feel cheated, who knows?

After 4 days of silence and lying low, Palin finally did speak. On Facebook she posted a video disclaiming any part of such an atrocity as the Tucson massacre. As I watched her words peel off her lips with surgeon precision, I shuddered to think that she was interested in herself, defending herself, denying any part in the shootings at Tucson, and in taking the opportunity to slam dunk the Liberal Media and Liberals. She was right in saying that the shooter acted on his own, but she did not seem to care that her violent remarks in the past such as “lock and load” or “don’t give up (after losing races); reload” might have played a part in inflaming a mentally-deranged person like Loeghner to wound and kill so many innocent Americans.

For those in the News Media who said she might have some responsibility in the incitement of mentally unstable individual like Loeghner, she dumfounded many by accusing the Media of having a “blood libel” axe to grind against her. Blood libel is a term used to demonize Jews for the slaying of children to take their blood and mix with their unleavened bread for purposes of worship. Damn! Can you believe she would use such a term? Her anger goes deeper for a Media who challenges her and wants her to answer to charges, right or wrong, than I ever could imagine for her to use a term such as “blood libel” against the Media. Apparently her use of the term also angered many in the Jewish community. Palin’s use of the term “blood libel” disturbs Jews

So in Palin’s Facebook defense of herself, she says that the influence the Media has is minimal anyway and not that important. But as a person whose whole career is based upon media coverage how can we accept that? The Media is very powerful in determining events that affect the lives of all Americans. And those who use and abuse the Media to achieve their goals are, in this reporter’s opinion, ultra sleazy. Just look at the contrast between Palin’s Facebook video and President Obama’s address to the American people. The difference between Obama and Palin

I, for one, cannot understand this infatuation with such a dark and insensitive character as Sarah Palin. It is crystal clear that the overall good of America and the American people is not her quest. She just doesn’t give a damn. She proves that she cares most about Sarah Palin. And should be taken at her word. Lest we all pay for it dearly in the future.

The Tea Bagger Conspiracy: When Tea Baggers Head Fake and Act Like Real, Responsible Conservatives

They warned us. They told us they were going to do it! Now the Tea Party leads the charge to bring to fruition the dreams of Newt Gingrich and Grover Norquist, GOP Super Thugs who advocate rubbing out social programs for the people. Respectively, each Neocon wanted to see Social Security, Medicare and other government programs for the common American to wither on the vine and to drown in the bath tub. And their ship had come in after they beat the shit out of the Democrats last November, winning a House majority.

The GOP, fueled by the Tea Baggers to cut government spending, appears to be on course in starving the beast (as Newt calls it) in order to bring social spending programs nearer the Neocon firing squad. The beast, is a total of all government spending programs that benefit the poor, the working class, the average American. You know, Welfare, Medicare, the School Lunch Programs, SCHIPS (health insurance for poorer kids), and Social Security, the billions of dollars that the US government spends on average Americans, not on Big Oil subsidies or No-Bidder contract corporate cronies like Halliburton.

Neocons and Tea Baggers (if there is a significant difference) are determined to starve the beast into non-existence. This means they want to kill Social Security, Medicare, Pell Grants, etc., you know, all the things that do not put extra bucks into their military industrial complex deep pockets, but into the pockets of what I am sure they consider to be riff raff Americans, the working stiffs who are trying to make ends meet and maybe send a kid or two to college so they might have a better life.

The method these (Un) Conservatives use is quite ingenious. First you Goebbelsize the Democrats into the party that is made up of the Big-Spenders. You get the Republican Party Members to spend billions of dollars on lobby ads, repetition ads that Democrats are the party of High Taxes and Big Spending. To make it catchy and memorable, you just call them: Tax and Spend Democrats. That phrase sticks well.

Remember how Bob Perry, the Texas builder funded a 527 group called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth where his $4.45 Million dollar contribution helped demonize John Kerry in the 2004 Election? The money transformed Kerry, a combat veteran who put himself in harm’s way by volunteering for Rivereine Operations in Viet Nam, into someone who was perceived to be dishonorable. Kerry received the Silver Star for valor, but George W. Bush took a second term as president. The Boston Globe had the goods on Bush. Instead of submitting to the draft as did all other American males over 18, Bush got a cushy Texas Air Guard assignment as the Viet Nam War raged. There was no possibility that Bush would ever see combat. The LA Times showed how Bush got the assignment from Poppy Bush’s connections in high places. And how Bush went AWOL while missing several Reserve meetings, never reporting for military service in Alabama as ordered, and getting out of his 5-year military service contract early. Money and influence can do wonders in re-writing history. And in spreading (Non) truths. Sigh.

This same Bob Perry gave Karl Rove another $7 million to add to a group organized to help defeat Democrats in the 2010 Congressional Election last November 2. The overwhelming landslide where the Republicans stole the House from the Democrats could have been due to the 527 Group that grew from Perry’s small contribution to Karl Rove that grew into $55 Million dollars by the time the election year got underway.  How to Buy Congressmen With Ease

Later on, Perry got a black eye when a court awarded a couple $51 million dollars for a home Perry built. The court ruled that it was fraud. Maybe God does exist after all, but the couple will probably never see a penny of it while Perry drags it out for the meanness of it all.

Perry is but one Billionaire that hates social programs for the poor and fair wage and good jobs for the working man. He and Newt Gingrich are probably buddies that pause once a year to sip cocktails at the downtown Petroleum Club in Houston with Karl Rove as they plan their attack on unsuspecting Americans everywhere.

The rape and pillage of government programs has just begun.

First off let us establish some math to give us a starting point. Who says that Democrats are the Big Spenders in government? Only the opposition, the GOP, the Tea Baggers say that, big deal. But then during the past few years that saw the GOP fall from Grace, they did have to come up with a new gimmick, the Tea Party Movement. Tea Baggers all of a sudden expressed outrage at the Big-Spending Democrats and how they had bankrupted America. After 8 years of Bush, Republicans had become so hated and despised, a new angle was needed. The same old selfish Neocons had to rename the Republican party the way a defunct bankrupted widget manufacturer must do if the old widgets produced cancer.

Enter the Koch Bros. of Wichita, the largest privately-owned company in the world. The Koch’s were in oil and construction way back when Stalin gained control of Russia back in the 1920s. The Koch family, oilmen, engineers, and chemists, were big back then, too, as they conducted business and services all over America in the oilfields back here at home. They used (or misused) a patent that was owned by another company, and they were fined and prohibited from using the other company’s patent here in America. But Stalin didn’t care if the Koch’s violated the patent. Neither did the Koch’s, and they did. Stalin needed to build up the infrastructure in all the major Russian cities. The Koch’s serviced Stalin’s needs for years and the rest (including the accumulation of billions of dollars) is history. Well those same hard assets have grown enormously, and recently, some of the Koch Brothers from Wichita decided to put a new spin on an old party. They funded the Tea Party. All the Pennsylvania protestors at Glenn Beck’s Washington D.C. organized rally were bussed down, fed and housed for the duration and told to cheer for the Tea Party rally to see to it that American politicians stopped spending our tax dollars for Democratic earmarks. Then the Koch’s paid the way for hundreds of Tea Bagger Americans to attend the Tea Party National Convention in Nashville where Sarah Palin was the keynote speaker. Of course they were well cued to cheer her on. The entrance fee was $500 per head. The Koch’s paid that fee, too. Some grass roots movement the Tea Party, don’t you think?

Here’s a scoop for the GOP and the Tea Baggers:

Our National Debt stands at:

$14 Trillion Dollars.

So how did it get so large? Was it because the Big-Spending Democrats borrowed all those trillions to pay for Welfare and other social programs for the poor?

No.

In the 1980s President Ronald Reagan stumped for and had a willing Congress to allow him to borrow and spend Trillions of dollars to bring the Evil Empire, Russia (as he called the country then) to its knees. This happened not even in wartime, but no matter. So what did Reagan borrow and spend during his 8 years as president to accomplish that feat?

3 Trillion Dollars. $3,000,000,000,000.00

President George W. Bush went against British Intelligence, US Intelligence (the CIA warned Bush not to say Iraq had tried to buy Yellow Cake Uranium from Niger, but Bush said it anyway), and attacked Iraq. He justified it because Iraq, he said, had nukyular weapons pointed at us and dag nab it, he did not want the “smoking gun to come in the form of a mushroom cloud.” Of course we all know now that Saddam Hussein had no WMDs. It was all Baloney. Bush lied. So how much did Bush borrow and spend during his 8 years as president?

4 Trillion Dollars. $4,000,000,000,000.00

So how much did these two REPUBLICAN presidents add to our National Debt (without counting 8 years of Compounded Annual Interest on the money borrowed)?

7 Trillion Dollars. $7,000,000,000,000.00

When you subtract these two REPUBLICAN presidents’ additions to our National Debt and ongoing back-crushing interest and the deficit, from the our National Debt of $14 Trillion what do you get?

7 Trillion Dollars. $7,000,000,000,000.00

Fine. Now let us make some observations.

If the Democrats are truly Big-Spending Democrats (as accused), then how come ALL the Democrats AND Republicans who have sat in the Oval Office since the birth of our nation, have not spent as much as these two REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS AND THEIR WILLING CONGRESSES DURING THEIR SHORT TERMS IN OFFICE? (Anybody hear that pin drop?)

Two Republican Presidents, each with 8 years in office= $7 Trillion Dollars added to the National Debt by 2010.

ALL of the rest of the US Presidents since George Washington first took the oath of office on April 30, 1789 over a period of 221 YEARS!!!!!!! = $7 Trillion Dollars of the National Debt in 2010. Yet Reagan and Bush, all by themselves, and with a willing Congress, spent as much as ALL the other presidents in the history of America.

Will the real Big Spenders please stand up?

And will somebody with brains in the Tea Party please explain to me and the rest of America just why you are huffing about taxes now when you could have had a ball protesting your outrage at the borrowing and spending of just two presidents alone, Reagan and George W. Bush? Just who are you Tea Baggers who bitch about taxes now in 2010 when spendthrift presidents Reagan and George W. Bush have deliberately added 7 Trillion Dollars in National Debt during the 16 combined years they served in the White House? You talk and grouse about not loading your kids and grandkids down with the burdensome debt Big-Spending Democrats have brought upon us all. Egad, can’t you add?

You should be ashamed. If you were intelligent enough to do the simple math I would have to thrash you all even more. And for not checking out your sponsors and what their motives just might be: you know, the Koch’s, Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, Bob Perry, you know the crowd that worships stealing the big money from our government, the no-bid contracts like Dick Cheney’s Halliburton, and letting yourselves become complete saps in believing that the Tea Party is Real. It’s NOT and neither are you. The aforementioned group of thugs works your wooden hinged jaws with a puppet string.
